VTL, short for vertex table, is a file format used by Animator 7 for CAR animations. The format is almost exactly the same as the CAR animation format, with the main difference being the addition of the VCount field.
The vertex coordinates are typecast from float32 to int16 to reduce file size. Because this results in a slight loss of precision, VTL animations tend to be scaled larger than the 3DF model they are made for.
