Feral Rock pigeons
Feral Rock pigeons (Columba livia), also simply known as feral pigeons, are derived from domesticated Rock pigeons that have returned to the wild. Feral pigeons find the ledges of buildings to be a substitute for sea cliffs, and have become adapted to urban life and are abundant in towns and cities throughout much of Earth, and appearently Earth colonies such as Crater City.
Biology[]
A pigeon's diet consists usually of seeds and grains. However, pigeons often learn to take advantage of a large range of foods depending upon their urban environment. Pigeons are social birds, actively seeking the company of others in order to mate.
Carnivores Cityscape[]
Feral pigeons aren't seen in-game in Carnivores Cityscape, but are featured in loading art centered within the city.
Trivia[]
- The pigeon, housefly, pig, and wild boar are the only animals in the Carnivores series that aren't extinct on Earth.
