Poacher in iOS[]

Is it possible that the poacher might be re-added in a future update to the IOS version of Carnivores: Ice Age. It would be pretty cool if it was.CyborgIguana (talk) 11:16, July 22, 2012 (UTC)

I doubt it. It would be far too hard to rebalance the game with an enemy that can use a ranged attack, given the nature of the Carnivores games. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 07:19, July 23, 2012 (UTC)

About the Ambient Status[]

Okay, so here's why I changed the article to display "boss" instead of ambient. 1. There's no proof it would have been classified as an ambient other than "theories". 2. It's hostile which would make it not fit in with other ambients. 3. It would technically be in its own group due to its "boss" status. I think we should put this into consideration as I don't really think it should be classified as an ambient. Glitchhunter09 (talk) 13:45, July 26, 2013 (UTC)

Dmitry has already stated that it would appear randomly on maps after enough points are accumulated. This would technically qualify it as "ambient" and is the closest knowledge we have concerning it's original purpose. Monkey Shooter (talk) 15:24, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
"Ambient" would probably be the closest we can come to accurately categorizing the poacher, but I'd personally like to just say it was a scrapped enemy and leave it at that. Dmitry suggested it, yes, but he never came out and said "ambient" or any directly equivalent word or phrase, besides which there's no guarantee his recollection of the plans around the poacher would be flawless after this length of time. All we can really do is quote him and let the quote stand for itself. ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 18:03, July 26, 2013 (UTC)
That's true I guess. Note though that Dimitry was quoting someone formerly from Action Forms. He himself never actually worked for Action Forms (see my interview with him on Fan Guild.) Most likely, the person who told him was Igor Karev as he's the CEO of Tatem and of course one of the co-founders of Action Forms iirc. Also, another thing I want to note that's unrelated is that Action Forms is still alive. The company itself is on indefinite Haitus though, however it's still an active company. Regardless, my comment of "after this long" still stands, now compounded by the fact that we're also playing telephone. =)
If you'd like to edit the Action Forms article to be accurate, be my guest. =) ディノ千?!? · ☎ Dinoguy1000 01:45, July 29, 2013 (UTC)
